In the fall of 2021, numerous artists, creatives and authors responded to the open call of the project series [kunst trotzt gewalt], which was announced as part of the international campaign "16 Days Against Violence". The call was for artists to address the issue of violence against women*, girls*, lesbians, inter-, non-binary- and trans-persons as well as asexual/gender+.

From the diverse submissions, an expert jury consisting of Hildegund Amanshauser, Andrea Kopranovic and Martina Pohn selected 23 artistic positions that were presented during the 16 Days Against Violence, in a live broadcast on FS1 as well as on the blog ↳ präsentiert wurden.
These works will be brought from the online space to Stadtwerk Lehen in October 2022, where they will be shown in a public projection, on the forecourt of FOTOHOF. In addition, the accompanying project booklet will be presented as well as invitations to hang out, to view the works, to network and discuss.
